Welcome to our world, you precious babe so sweet.
We eagerly have counted all the toes upon your feet.

We've kissed your little cheekies, and measured you in length.
We've held your tiny hand in ours, and checked your grip for strength.

We've counted up your fingers, and tweaked your button nose.
We've quickly grabbed the camera and shot your latest pose.

We've tallied and we've counted.....Yup, everything is there!
Wow, did you see that? Look at all that curly hair!

What a blessing; what a joy! You are so very dear!
We thank the Lord with all our hearts that you are finally here!

We've asked the Lord to bless your life, each and every day
And pray that as you grow and learn, you'll follow in His ways.

We dedicate your life, sweet one, to Jesus Christ, our King;
and pray that as the years go by, His praises you will sing.

We pray you'll be His shining star, and here's one reason why.
Your name means gracious rapture that cometh from the sky!

So live up to your name, sweet child, and "let your light so shine,"
So that others may be saved from sin; it is His plan divine.

And when the final trumpet calls, and He comes for all His own;
We'll know you were a guiding light who led many to His Throne.
